Chouinard Residence
Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia (805-643-8616) * Completed in 1997, approx. 1400 SF  Practiced environmental construction with green specifications, used recycled building materials, passive heating/ cooling, solar assist system.

Fess Parker Winery
Eli Parker (805-688-1545) * Completed in 1990, 20,900 SF Earth sheltered design of barrel room and steel framed tasting and wine-making facility.

Heartwell Residence
(805-403-2426)* 2,373 SF custom home, built after the Tea Fire in Santa Barbara, California. The owners used Rastra Block (recycled polystyrene material) as an alternative building material, passive cooling design, radiant heating, and photovoltaic panel installation.

Reichman Residence
Jim Reichman, Director of UCSB ecology center (514-729-8002) * Completed in 1999, approx. 3000 SF.  Used Rastra Block (recycled polystyrene material) as an alternative building material.

Rice Residence
Santa Ynez “Villa Sun Terra” (805-688-1414) * 7,000 SF home. Features the use of Rastra Block, a Tuscan style residence to accompany the family winery, Sunstone, also designed by Robert Mehl.

Sanford Winery
Steve Fenell (800-426-9463) * 95,000 SF winery. Features the use of on-site earth material for adobe block construction, use of recycled timbers, passive heating and cooling design, waste water reclaiming system for irrigation of vineyards, and permeable paving.
